Information on Class Registration for Global Internship 2

Students wishing to take Global Internship 2 should note the following information regarding the process of registration and the content of the class.

Starting with the 2007 fall semester, students who have completed an overseas internship program may receive 3 credits, counted as a course in general education.  

◎ Introduction: Global Internship 2 gives credit for participation in overseas internship programs such as those administered by foreign companies, international organizations, international NGOs, etc.  

◎ Prerequisites: Only those students in undergraduate programs who have completed the Global Talent Program of the Career Development Center can register.  (However, exclusively in the 2007 fall semester, undergraduate students who have participated in an overseas internship program without any training beforehand may first register for the class and earn credit after receiving separate training.

◎ Minimum Hours Required:  Students must have completed at least sixty hours or more of internship work during their time abroad.  (Interns participating in internship programs for companies based in Korea may also receive credit if their work consisted of at least sixty hours or more abroad.)

◎ Course Retake:  Course retake is not allowed; students should fully devote themselves to their internship experience.

◎ Assignments and Grading Policy:

   ㆍStudents must submit a proof of internship provided by the respective organization and a final internship experience report by October 15th.

   ㆍGrades (S/U) are given based on the report and the open presentation.

◎ Students will receive a 'U' (Unsuccess) for the following:  

    Failing to submit the proof of internship

    Failing to submit the final report

    Failing to participate in the open presentation
