In Gwanaksa dormitory, any activity that may pose a potential fire hazard such as possession or use of heating appliances is strongly prohibited. Moreover, guests are not permitted to enter the dormitory building beside designated visiting hours.

 

There will be inspection held without notice during one of inspection days posted below. Please refer to the following information and dispose of any prohibited items. You can place items that are prohibited but valuable in separate area under RA’s custody until check-out. Guests entering dormitory buildings beside designated hours will be checked as well.

 

Inspection period: Mon~Fri, Nov 19~30, 2007 (2 weeks)

 

Checklist: 

1. Electric and heating appliances

 

- Permitted items: computers, cassette or MP3 players, hair dryers, electric razors, humidifiers, and mini refrigerators.

 

- Prohibited items: electric blankets, space heaters, hot plates, irons, coffee maker, portable stoves, rice cookers, toasters, T-shaped electric outlet extenders, candles and any other item which may pose a potential fire hazard.

 

2. Guest policy

Guests (including residents in other dormitory buildings) are allowed to enter the buildings only during designated visiting hours:

- Mon ~ Fri: 17:00 ∼ 22:30

- Weekends and holidays: 09:00 ∼ 22:30

 

**Night-time (22:30 ~ 09:00) Guest visit or accommodation is strongly prohibited. When guests happen to stay inevitably for emergency or special occasion, please contact RA and get permission in advance.

 

Upon entry, every visitor must accompany with a resident of the building and record their entry in the entry log.

 

3. Management of other prohibited items

Please report to RA and deposit in separate area. Items will be returned when check-out.
