Tailored Scholarship for Foreign Undergraduate Students
(For foreign undergraduate students enrolled before 2007)
The Tailored Scholarship is SNU’s internal scholarship for students in need of financial aid. The scholarship will also be awarded to foreign undergraduate students.
1. Eligibility
(1) Foreign undergraduate students in need of financial aid for the 2008 spring semester (excluding 2008 freshmen)
(2) Students with a GPA of 2.7 or higher on previous semesters, according to the Scholarship Award Provision.
(3) Students who have covered their tuition fees for their 2008 spring semester through other scholarships are not eligible.
2. Amount Awarded: Full tuition or half tuition will be awarded to recipients. Funds will be wired to the private bank account listed on the application form in June 2008.
3. Application Period: Wednesday, April 30th ~ Tuesday, May 13th, 2008 (14 days)
4. How to Apply: SNU Portal Site (MySNU)
# Method 1.
1) Log on to SNU Portal Site MySNU (http://my.snu.ac.kr/)
2) Click on the ‘장학복지지원카드신청’ hyperlink at the bottom of the page.

3) Complete the 장학복지지원카드(Student Welfare Support Card) form.
4) Apply/save and submit the application.
# Method 2.
1) Log on to SNU Portal Site MySNU (http://my.snu.ac.kr/)
2) Click on ‘학사행정’ at the top of the page.
3) Click on '등록/장학‘.
4) Click on the '장학‘ tab.
5) Click on '장학복지지원카드신청‘ and fill out the form.
6) Apply/save and submit the application.
5. Application Forms
1) Certificate of parents' annual income.
- Based on the annual income for 2007
- Authenticate the document either in English or Korean
- A legitimate form of this document must be submitted to be eligible for the scholarship.

- If parents are working in Korea and earn an income, their 근로소득원천징수영수증(Earned Income Withholding Receipt), or their 건강보험료 납입증명서(Certificate of Health Insurance Payment) and 지방세 세목별 과세증명서 (Certificate of Local Tax Taxation) must be submitted.
