The aim of this workshop is to provide a guideline for ALL majors when writing research articles. This workshop will focus on:
(1) The macro and micro structures of research articles
(2) Analysis of different sections by using move analysis
(3) Cultural differences in writing
(4) Common errors in writing
Although the purpose of this workshop is not to provide a general guideline for academic writing but intended for those who are currently preparing for international publication, students who are interested in improving their writing skills are welcome to attend. Please bring a copy of a research article that was published within your particular field of study for analysis.
