All the students who want to register their student group as an official student circle under the Gwanak Student Circle Association must upload your application on the '신규등록/가등록'(Registration) board of Student Circle Association Online Community (http://kwdy.cyworld.com.) The application must be filled out according to the following format stated below. (Please save the application as a HWP file using 'Hangul' with the default setting, not MS Word.) Please send an SMS to 010-5099-0225 after submitting the application.
1. Temporary Registration
-Eligibility: Student groups, which have been active for more than one calendar year (The activity should not overlap with activities of already existing circles.)
-Application Format: Please upload your file as a 'secret post' for the protection of privacy.
1) Purpose of the Circle
2) Activities & results of the circle so far
3) Plan for this year
4) List of member names (must be more than 20)
-Registration Process:
- 1) Application Submission
- 2) Section Assignment by a Steering Committee
- 3) Deliberation of the Section Committee
- 4) Confirmation during a General Assembly
*About Temporary Registration
1. Temporarily registered circles are qualified to apply for formal registration next year.
2. Temporarily registered circles are not given the right to participate in budget-making, not given a right to vote, and are not qualified to run for election.
3. Temporarily registered circles may be given a communication room (But there are currently no empty rooms left in the student center)
4. The qualification as a temporarily registered circle is valid for two years.
5. Temporarily registered circles are able to participate with every event of the Student Circle Association, and have a duty to report the activities to a section committee
6. Temporarily registered circles have a duty to report their activity to a section committee and at a general steering committee more than twice a semester.
2. Formal Registration
-Eligibility: Temporarily registered circles
-Application Format: Please upload your file as a 'secret post' for the protection of privacy.
1) Activity during the temporarily registered period
2) Future Plan
3) List of the member names. (More than 20 members, composed of students from more than three different colleges)
4) Materials which can prove the activity during the temporarily registered period.
-Registration Process:
1) Application Submission
2) Deliberation of the Section Committee
3) Vote during a General Assembly (accepted if more than 2/3 of the members agree)
*Right of the formal circles
1. Right to participate in every decision-making of the Student Circle Association
2. Financial Support (90,000 Won every semester)
3. Annual Financial Support (250,000 - 600,000 won; the amount of financial support is decided according to the report of the prior year's activity.)
4. Right to have a circle room in the student center (But there are currently no empty rooms left in the student center)
