2008 Autumn Mini Diving Gulbi!!

Ladies and gentlemen! The very thing you've been waiting for; the season of Diving Gulbi has finally arrived!

Diving Gulbi is an annual rock festival at SNU. 2008 Autumn Diving Gulbi will be held on October 10th, during the SNU autumn festival. Prior to that, the 2008 Mini Diving Gulbi will be held on Tuesday, September 30th, in the Gwanak-sa (Dormitory) Lounge. (The location may be changed.)

Please refer to the following information decided in SNU festival committee.

1. Try Anything You Want!
The festival is open to participation in all genres of music.Last year the death metal band and folk music band gave impressive performances. You may also prepare and play your own background music.

2. Perform Your Own Song!
An advantage will be given to bands performing self-written songs.

3. Warning!
You may only perform on stage once. You cannot perform twice as a member of two different bands.
Students from other schools are also allowed to participate in the festival, but at least one SNU student must be included in the band.

4. 12 to 15 Minutes of Performance!
You may be able to perform two to three songs. Please remember that your given time includes the setting.

5. Judge!
Basically, your band will be the judge of the contest! Each band will be grading each other and it will be consolidated to decide the winner of this contest. ALso, the festival committee will choose the winners as 'Wild Cards.'


You can apply for the contest in a SNU festival committee community (club.cyworld.com/cysnufever), "나도 축제!! 따이빙굴비(Diving Gulbi)" board. Please include the following information in the application post.

1. Band Name, Band Members' names, departments, and positions.

2. Performance lists (temporary)

3. Equipments needed.
* The quantity of microphones, amps and other electronic equipments needed
* Electrical cables for electric guitar, base guitar, and keyboard are prepared, but it is advised that each band prepare extras incase of an emergency.
* The keyboard stand will not be offered.
