The SNU Korean Language Education Center will be opening a new afternoon-course starting from 2009 Spring Semester. The course will offer the same curriculum as the morning course, with a 10% discount. This includes speaking, listening, reading and writing programs to promote your ability to communicate in Korean. The Korean Language Education Center conducts its course in well-equipped classroom with multimedia instruments. Korean Language Education Center offers various cultural experience programs and SNU student personal helper program. The course will be conducted 4 hours per day on weekdays following the schedule attached below.

-Statement of Purpose (either in Korean or English)
-Transcript and diploma from one’s last educational institute
* If one’s last educational institute is in China, one also has to submit an official endorsement.
-Resume or self-introduction (either in Korean or English)
-A copy of passport (the page with one’s photo on it)
-Application fee: 50,000 won (non refundable)
-Additional documents for application for D-4 visa for Chinese students
-A family register and a copy of identification of the student and one’s parents.
-Original Warrant of balance at the bank in student’s name (with more than USD 3,000 or RMB
equivalent to USD 3,000)
-One reference and a original certificate of holding office in guarantor’s name
※ Chinese students applying for the D-4 visa must take into consideration that it takes about
2 months for the visa to be issued. Those who wish to apply should submit the documents
at least 2 months prior to their intended date of entry..
