Microsoft Corporation has recently released the new Web Browser Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), and is advocating web users to upgrade their browsers. Although upgrading your personal web browser to IE8 may have its advantages, please defer from doing so right at this moment, as Seoul National University’s portal site mySNU is yet undergoing compatibility tests. Computers using the new web browser system may not function properly when accessing mySNU and related websites. SNU students are thus recommended to defer from upgrading their personal browsers until further notice, which will be posted once mySNU undergoes all compatibility tests and configurations. Those who have or are planning on upgrading their browsers, please note that certain aspects of the SNU portal site may not function properly.
